If you want to take plants inside, make sure you have a sunny location for them.  It may be easier to repot a few plants in small containers for a window sill, rather than take a large planter inside.  If you are moving plants inside, a quick wipe of the leaves and stems with a wet paper towel is a good idea to remove any insect eggs. If you are repotting, use a good quality potting mix, not garden soil.  You don’t need to fertilize over the winter – growth will be minimal – and be sure to let the top layer of soil dry between waterings to discourage mold and fungus growth.
